Shade Adjustment
This is called Tint in the Mouth. It is a shade adjustment a shade modification. This is a completely different procedure It is not to be confused to Shade Taking.
Shade Adjustment is when we adjust crowns. We can only adjust the crowns darker not lighter. If the Crowns are too dark the crowns will need to be remade. If there are more than 3 crowns, the Lab will need them all back. We cannot proceed on a shade modification if the crowns have been inserted. The Dentist will need to remove the crown and additional appointments made
You must allow and allocate from 2 hours to 4 hours for Shade Adjustment.
